These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to AllMandir, an independent Hindu temple directory with panchang, festivals, and dharma guides. By creating an account, signing in, or posting user-generated content, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register or post.
1. Acceptance before sign-in and UGC
You must accept the current Terms before login or registration, and again before likes, comments, or photo submissions if the Terms version has changed. We store the Terms version and the time you accepted.
2. Zero-tolerance for objectionable content
AllMandir has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable user-generated content. The following are forbidden: hate speech or slurs; harassment or threats; sexual or pornographic material; graphic violence; spam or scams; illegal activity; and any content that exploits minors.
We will remove offending material and may eject (block or permanently delete) users who provide it. Repeat or severe violations lead to account termination.
3. What counts as user-generated content
- Comments on temple pages (text).
- Photos and listing details you submit when suggesting a temple.
- Likes (a count only — no text or media).
4. Publishing and filters
Temple comments are published when posted. Members can report or block; administrators may hide or remove violating comments. Submitted listing photos and new temple details are not public until an administrator approves them. Likes have no user-authored text or media; they appear in counts once saved, and a user you block is hidden from your counts and comment list.
5. Report and block
You can report a comment with a required reason and an optional note. You can block another member so their comments and likes disappear from your feeds immediately. Reports and blocks notify the AllMandir developer (via email to the admin / safety inbox).
6. 24-hour moderation
Administrators review open reports in the in-app queue. We aim to act within 24 hours of a report. Overdue reports are highlighted in the admin queue.
7. Licence you grant us
By submitting content you represent that you have the right to share it and grant AllMandir a non-exclusive licence to display and process it for directory purposes. We may edit, reject, or remove submissions.
